主要研究领域：研究兴趣主要在汉语句法、语义以及语用和句法的交互。遵循形式和意义相互验证的研究方法，即主张最大限度地寻求形式和意义的相互契合，认为只有形式和意义相互契合的东西才是语法中真实存在的东西，才是有价值的东西。
